Jeanette "Massey" Pereira, 73, of Fall River, passed away Thursday after a long illness. Wife of Lawrence L. Pereira, to whom she was married for 53 years. Born in East Providence, daughter of the late Manuel Francis and Dorothy Blackledge. She was a teacher's aide for the Fall River School Department for many years. Beloved mother of Larry Pereira (wife-Norma) and Scott Pereira (wife-Colleen); grandmother of Carl and Keith (wife-Kimberly) Parent; Evan, Haley and Eliza Pereira; great grandmother of Kody Parent; and twin sister of Jean Vincent (husband-Ray). Jeanette also leaves many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, December 15, in Holy Rosary Church followed by a private cremation.
