Jeanne Couture, 86, formerly of So. Dartmouth, passed away Wednesday at home. Widow of Roger N. Couture. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late William and Yvonne (Bernier) Fernandes. She retired as vice president of the mortgage department at Citizens-Union Savings Bank. Beloved mother of Michelle Drum (husband – William), Normand Couture (wife – Norma), Suzanne Oliveira (husband – John), John Couture (wife – Nancy) and the late Yvonne Ferreira; sister of Pauline Rubbo. Jeanne also leaves 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, December 16, in St. George Church, Westport, followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
