Jeanne L. (Cote) Motta, 81, widow of Dennis M. Motta, of New Bedford, formerly of Fall River, died after a short illness on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 at SE MA Health & Rehab Ctr in New Bedford. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Albert & Lily Mae (Brodeur) Cote she lived in New Bedford for the past year, in Fall River most of her life, and had also lived in Connecticut for 15 years. Survivors include 2 grandchildren, 4 stepgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews including her caretaker, Patrick S. Donnelly, of Somerset, Mass. She was also mother of the late Richard A. Preattle and Susan Ricciardone. A Memorial Mass was offered on Friday (12/7) in Holy Rosary.
