Jeanne M. Pavao, 81, of Somerset and formerly of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, November 4. She was the wife of Virgilio "Gene" Pavao. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Francis and Ann (Dickinson) Powers. She worked for Shelbourne Shirt and Fall River Knitting before becoming a CNA, employed by Charlton Memorial Hospital and Adam's House. Mrs. Pavao was a member of the Chickadees, served as secretary for the Mass. Senior Action, and was an avid bingo player. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Joyce Bippus of Somerset; grandchildren, Mark and Kelley; great grandchildren, Manny, Nicholas and Sebastian; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late William "Ace" Powers and Frank Powers. Private arrangements were held with the Silva-Faria Funeral Home.
