Jeanne S. Saab, 90, of Somerset and formerly of East Hampton, MA, passed away on Monday. She was the wife of Ernest Saab, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Leeds, MA, daughter of the late Anthony & Constance (Werner) Wernik. A WWII Veteran of the US Navy WAVES, she graduated from Thibodeau Business School and was a member of the Lebanese Women's Guild. Besides her husband, Jeanne is survived by a son, Ernest E. Saab, Jr. of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Susan J. McHenry (husband – Michael) of East Taunton, Jeanne E. Silva of Swansea and Elizabeth S. Lerner (husband – Scott) of Hopedale, MA; grandchildren, Michael, Courtney, Jordan (wife – Megan), Lindsay (husband – Lee), Katy, Troy and Evan; great grandsons, Chad, Austin, Landon and Mason; and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Henrietta Poznanski, Emma Sowa, Pauline Baldyga, Helen Kaliff, Wilma Ropelewski; Alexander, Edmond and Sigmond Wernik. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of the Desert Church. She was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
