Jeanne E. Venancio

   Jeanne E. Venancio, 92, of Fall River, widow of James P. Venancio, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Catholic Memorial Home.  Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late William C. Lizotte and the late Ida (Beaubay) Lizotte, she lived most of her life in Taunton and later resided for about twenty years in Middleboro.

   An inspector with Motorola for a number of years prior to retiring, Jeanne also assisted in her husband’s woodworking shop, where she enjoyed helping by painting small items when they were complete.  She enjoyed camping, playing table games and taking bus rides with family and friends.  Jeanne especially enjoyed taking her nieces and nephews to the beach and having sleepovers with them.

   She is survived by: three stepchildren, Neal Venancio (partner Katherine Sherring) of Portsmouth, RI, Laurie Balme of No. Dighton, and Cynthia Kibbler of Concord, MA; several step grand- and great grandchildren; two brothers, William J. Lizotte (wife Jeannette) of Taunton and Donald P. Lizotte (wife Helene) of Florida; two nieces, Donna Notorangelo and Michelle Medeiros; a nephew, Donald Lozotte; and several grandnephews.  Jeanne was predeceased by a niece, Susanne Cruz, and a nephew, David Lizotte.

   Private Cremation Arrangements were with Silva-Faria Funeral Home.
