Jeannette M. King, 63, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday unexpectedly. Wife of Erwin J. King. Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Jeannette Francis, she grew up in Connecticut and moved to Somerset 20 years ago. Jean worked at Electric Boat for many years. Beloved mother of Joette Frey and Ann Lavin; grandmother of Nicolette Cover, Joshua Scully, Alexandria Cooper, Chloe and Ashley Lavin, Liz and Abby Mras, Hannah and Emma Hoenstine; sister of Joseph Francis, Joanne Beckwith, Elizabeth Weinberg and Amy Renaldi. She also leaves several stepchildren, nieces and nephews. A private funeral was held from our Somerset Chapel followed by her committal at Nathan Slade Cemetery.
