Jeannette A. Martin, 93, of Fall River, widow of Kenneth H. Martin, formerly the widow of Sylvio Pelletier, died Friday Jan. 22 at Southpointe Rehab. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late George and Adele (Letendre) Barbeau, she resided most of her life in Fall River. She also lived in Swansea for 20 years. She worked in the local textile industry, and also at the former Franco Livery. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to Twin River. She leaves: 2 children, Robert Pelletier and Nancy Manchester; 2 stepchildren, John Martin and Cynthia Radican; 11 grandchildren, including her caregiver, Tammie Manchester; 4 great & 3 great-great grandchildren; many step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mother of the late Roger & Ronald Pelletier; stepmother of the late Kenneth and Sandra Martin; sister of the late Rev. Roland G. Barbeau and Lauretta Markland. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, January 25th, in St. Bernadette Church. Her private cremation followed and her ashes were buried in her family plot at Notre Dame Cemetery.
