Jemail (Azar) LePage, 90, of Westport, formerly of Fall River, passed away Thursday after a short illness. Widow of Jerry Lepage. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Thomas and Mintaha (Joseph) Azar, she resided in Fall River for 89 years. A lifetime parishioner of St. Anthony of the Desert Church and member of their Blessed Mother Guild, she also served as an adult advisor for their M.Y.O. and, for 10 years, was chairperson of their Bazaar Crafts Sale along with volunteering for many other church functions. Involved in numerous club and community activities, such as NAM, Mrs. LePage was a member of the Lebanon American Ladies Auxiliary and past president of the Lafayette Place Seniors and the Btadine Al Lische Society. A seamstress for 25 years in local shops, she also worked in the Jewelry Department at the former Kerr Mill for 15 years. Jemail enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards and traveling. Her smile will be missed in greeting customers and staff at her son's restaurant, LePage's Seafood and Grille. Beloved mother of Eric (wife-Carol), Peter (wife-Tena Coley) and the late Robert Lepage; sister of the late Joseph Azar, Margaret Assad and Alice Cook. She also leaves Robert's widow, Deolinda; grandchildren, Elisabeth (husband-Sean), Peter, Hannah, Bobby and Kim; great granddaughters, Leila and Mila; godchildren, Joh & Michael Assad, Rene Durost and Cheryl Jones; several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, July 8, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
