Jennifer L. (Cabral) Masud, age 39, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Mahboob Masud. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Joseph Cabral and Katherine M. (Sardinha) Cabral of New Bedford. Jennifer was employed for many years as an optical technician at Somerset Eye Care. She enjoyed cooking, working in the garden, and 'social networking' with her friends online. In addition to her husband and parents she leaves a daughter, Pamela M. Cabral of New Bedford, a brother, Scott Cabral of New Bedford, a sister, Danielle Cabral of Fall River, her maternal grandparents, Frank M. and Mary (Rapoza) Sardinha of Portsmouth, RI, two brothers in law; Khaled Masud, (wife) Sharin Akther, and Awlad Masud, (wife) Shilpy Masud, a sister in Law, Khajista Akthar Banu, three nephews; Devin Amaral, Brayden Pacheco and Sadnan Rayan, three nieces; Brittany Cabral, Emma Doyle and Aniqa Tashin, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also the granddaughter of the late Joseph & Odelia (Medeiros) Cabral and the daughter in law of the late Abdul Khaleque Mian & Farida Khaleque. Jennifer's Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 18, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery on Robeson Street in Fall River.
