Jeremias L. Botelho, 87, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2016 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home. He was the widower of  Maria C. Botelho (Cabral) with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Jeremias was born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores and was the son of the late Jacinto and the late Belmira (Botelho) Leandro. He was a machine operator for Plymouth Rubber for many years and later a custodian at BCC. He was an active member of the Don Carlos Club and the Holy Name Society. He was the father of Michael L. Botelho  and his wife Joyce of Fall River, Edward L. Botelho and his wife Carol of  Smithfield, Rhode Island, and Jeremiah L. Botelho of Fall River. He was the brother of Manuel Aguiar and his  wife Maria,  and Isaltina Azevedo, both of Fall River, and Humberto Aguiar and his wife Carolea of Somerset. He leaves his four grandchildren; Zachery, Caleb, Tori, and Jake, and several nieces and nephews.  His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, January 14th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
