Jesse Andrade, 89, beloved husband of Elsie (Pereira) Andrade, passed away at Catholic Memorial Home, September 14, 2011, on the day of their 65th wedding anniversary. Born in Tiverton, he was the son of the late Jesse and Leopolinda (Rego) Andrade and lived most of his life in Fall River. A WWII Army Veteran, he served as a Medical Aidman for the 466th Ambulance Corps in the European Theater. After retiring from the former F.B. Rogers Silver Co. in Taunton, he spent many years as a crossing guard at the Ralph M. Small School. He was a communicant and collector for St. Anthony of Padua Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. He is also survived by three sons, Richard Andrade (wife-Anne) of North Providence, Raymond Andrade (wife-Denise) of Assonet, and Robert Andrade of Fall River; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Joseph, Manuel, August, Antone, and Alfred Andrade, Mary Santos, Rose Amaral, Stella Citino, and Alice Miranda.
