Joao F. Carvalho, 81, of Davis St., passed away Tuesday after a short illness. Husband of the late Maria do Carmo (Pereira) Carvalho. Born in Mosteiros, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel F. and Helena (Aguiar) Carvalho. Brother of Jose Carvalho, Maria Helena Raposo and the late Antonio, Francisco, Felipe and Tome Carvalho. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 18, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
