Joao Raposo, 76, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Husband of Alda Raposo. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jacinto and Maria Raposo. He was the beloved father of Dinarte, Joao Luis, Emanuel, Maria & Luisa Raposo, Zelia Pereira, Paula Alves, Patricia Pacheco, Natercia Burgos, Lucia Rebelo and the late Carlos Raposo. He also leaves 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a sister in St. Michael. His funeral service was held at Evangelical Baptist Church. He was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
