Joao S. Arruda, 51, of Fall River, passed away Thursday unexpectedly. Husband of Maria (Oliveira) Arruda. Born in Santa Barbara, St. Michael, Azores, son of Elzira Arruda and the late Joao Arruda Beloved father of Joao V. and Ashley Arruda; grandfather of Kamryn Botelho; brother of Jose and Miguel Arruda, Lidia DaPonte and Maria Vultao. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, August 5, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
