Joao M Silva, 63, of Fall River, husband of Maria (Dias) Silva, died Friday 3/29/13 at St Anne's Hospital after an illness. Born in St Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel & Maria (Botelho) Silva, he moved to Fall River in 1975. He was a carpenter for many years until his recent retirement, and a member of Fall River Sports Club. Brother of Natalia Silva Raposo of the Azores, Luis Silva of Fall River, and the late Fernando Silva, he also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
