Joao R. Terceira, 78, formerly of Fall River, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. He was the husband of the late Alexandrina Terceira. Born in Feteiras do Sul, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel R. and Filomena Terceira. Father of John Terceira (wife – Fatima), Maria S. Raposo (husband – John) and Diane Oliveira (husband – Mark); grandfather of Mark, Matthew and Tanya Terceira, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Melanie and Jordan Raposo, Marissa and Jaden Oliveira; great grandfather of Sean, Mariah and Cameron; brother of the late Manuel and Jose Terceira, Gloria Camara, Gilda and Conceicao Pacheco. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, August 11, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Church He was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
