Joaquim E., better known as "Jack," Da Silva, age 84, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017. He was the husband of Juvenalia, better known as "Jenny," (Araujo) Da Silva. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a son of the late Jose & Josefa (Praeira) da Silva, he emigrated to Fall River in 1970, and worked for many years at the Valentine Tool Co., of Norton, MA, retiring in 1994.

Besides his wife, he leaves: 4 siblings, Jose da Silva, Nina Araujo, Iracema Pereira, and Patronilia Borges all of Brazil; and many nieces & nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, October 30th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
