Joaquim B. "Jack" Medeiros, 44, of Fall River, passed away on October 9, 2008 unexpectedly. Born in Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was son of the late Joaquim "Barata" and Urselina (De Jesus) Medeiros. Father of Zachary, Amanda and Candice Medeiros and Marie Rapoza. Brother of Horacio, Manuel, Domingos and Gil Medeiros, Rosa Correia, Margarida Barbosa, Encarnacao Medeiros, Urselina Sousa, Eugenia Medeiros, Lubelia Lourenco, Beatrice Pavao, Ana Furtado and the late Antonio Messias Medeiros. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers Paul and Eddy Botelho, Jack and Joe Medeiros, Robert Furtado, Anthony Brooks, Cliff Barbosa and David Souza brought Jack to his final resting place at St Patrick Cemetery.
