John Michael Arruda, 35, of Fall River and the fiancé of Nicole Pereira, passed away accidently on September 3, 2021 in New Bedford. Born in New Bedford, he was a son of Donna (Silva) Arruda and Russell Arruda. He was also the son of Michael and Anne Cabral.

Prior to his passing, he was a Warehouse Assistant Manager for Bridge Terminal in New Bedford for many years.  He loved fishing, camping, riding his Harley and, most importantly, spending quality time with family and friends.  He was also a very loving, kind, caring, and generous man and an amazing father, son, and fiancé who worked very hard to provide for his family.

Besides his fiancé of nine years, he leaves: his children, Jace Michael Arruda, Jonathan Gruber, Jr., and Kayleigh Gruber; sisters, Nicole Arruda of Acushnet, MA, Stacy Cunha of Fall River, and Lisa Santos of Rhode Island; his brothers, Danny Cabral of Westport, Billy Cabral of Rhode Island, Jimmy Cabral and Mark Arruda, both of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held on Monday, September 13th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his private cremation.
