John Branco, 80, of Fall River, husband of the late Alice V. (Arruda) Branco, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Born in Fall River, son of the late John Branco and the late Rose (Pacheco) Branco, he was raised in Somerset and resided in Fall River most of his life.

Prior to his retirement, he had worked for many years as a custodian for the Fall River Public Schools. He enjoyed boxing, keeping his yard well-manicured, and inventing things.

He is survived by: three children, Faith Knight-Platt (husband Michael) of Westport, Chris Branco of Fall River, and Jenn Cournoyer (husband Tim) of Dartmouth; one sister, Dolores Desrosiers of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, Nicole, Emily, Heather, Jayde, Abbey, and Ava; five great grandchildren, David, Brody, Parker, Olivia, and Grady; and several nieces & nephews. He was also the father of the late John Branco; and a brother of the late Madeline Chace, Rose Miranda, and Joseph Branco.

His Funeral Arrangements were private.
