John A. Campezato, 71, of Fall River, dear friend and companion of Olga Cabral, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Carvalho Grove Nursing Home. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, John was the son of the late Vergilio Campezato and the late Maria (Reis) Campezato.

Prior to retirement, John worked as a boat maker at the Newport Shipyard. He enjoyed fishing and putting model cars together.

He is survived by his children and grandchildren; sister Maria L. Domingues and her husband Manuel, of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews.

Following a private cremation, His Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, August 22nd, at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fall River.
