John A. D'Ambrosio, 53, of Rehoboth, husband of Gretchen (Andresen) D'Ambrosio, passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Born in Fall River, a son of A. John D'Ambrosio and Madeline (Silva) D'Ambrosio, both of Somerset, he resided in Rehoboth for the past 20 years.

John earned a Bachelor's degree in science from Boston College and a double Master's Degree in business administration and accounting at Northeastern University. He was co-proprietor, with his brother, of D'Ambrosio & Co., P.C. CPA's, of North Main Street in Fall River, for 20 years, and was a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. John was a youth basketball and baseball coach in Rehoboth for many years, and he enjoyed vacationing and spending time with family.

Besides his wife, of 27 years, he is survived by: two children, Robyn Lynn D'Ambrosio and Colin John D'Ambrosio both of Rehoboth; one brother, Thomas A. D'Ambrosio (partner, Jaclyn Fournier) of Rehoboth; parents-in-law, William H. & Veronica A. (Thomas) Andresen of Somerset; sister-in-law, Melissa M. Andresen (fiancé, Jason Hill) of Swansea; and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 5th, in St. Thomas More Church, Somerset, followed by his private committal at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
