John F. Camara, 80, of Somerset, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, surrounded by loving family members, Husband of Victoria (Martin) Camara. Born in Fall River, son of the late John P. and Mary (Santos) Camara. After his service in the Marine Corps during the Korean War, John went on to work for the former Fall River Electric Light Co. for over 40 years. Beloved father of Deborah Ann Camara and Kathleen Marie Camara; grandfather of Jacob John Camara, Nathaniel Davis and Oriana Camara; brother of Robert Camara and the late Judith Guay. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His funeral service was held at our Somerset Chapel on Friday, January 13, followed by his committal with military honors at St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
