John Paul
Kiepler
d. Jan 14, 2026
Rehoboth
John P. Kiepler, 75, of Rehoboth, husband of Carolyn T. (Gomes) Kiepler, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Granville, NY, the son of the late John H. Kiepler and the late Margaret F. (Fleckenstein) Kiepler, he moved to Glens Falls, NY as a child, and resided in Rehoboth for the past 40 years.
A self-employed furniture repairman for many years, working for various companies, John had also worked for a number of years as a service tech with ADT. A big fan of the Patriots, he was quite the football athlete in his day – inducted into the Glens Falls High School Sports Hall of Fame as a member of its undefeated football team. John enjoyed dancing, playing golf, and spending time with family.
Besides his wife of 18 years, he is survived by: a daughter, Lori-Ann Travers of Swansea; two granddaughters, Courtney Travers and Kylie Travers; two great grandsons (twins) Arlo and Levi; and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his sister, Karen Kiepler.
Following a private cremation, His Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 7th, during a visitation in our Somerset Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in John's memory to: Shriners Children's Hospital, 51 Blossom St, Boston, MA 02114; 6617-722-3000; Donate to Shriners Hospitals for Children® (lovetotherescue.org) https://donate.lovetotherescue.org/give; OR, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; 800-805-5856; https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html.
