John Perry Martin, age 85, of Fall River, formerly of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Borges) Martin, to whom he was married for 63 years.

Born in Taunton, he was a son of the late John L. Martin and the late Mary P. (Mimoza) Martin and resided in Fall River most of his life. An architect by trade, John was the proprietor of the Accurate Design Group of Ward Street in Fall River for 50 years – only recently retiring. A broker for many years, he was the president of Arrow Realty Inc. He also enjoyed volunteering with the Jaycees, acting as its Fall River president.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by: two children, Scott Martin (wife Lori) and Nicole Abuzarifah (husband Khalid); four grandchildren, Scott "CJ" Martin, Nora Abuzarifah, Ghazi Abuzarifah, and Olivia Martin; four siblings, Dena Martin, Ed Martin, Elda Martin, and Judith Reese; and many nieces & nephews. He was also a brother of the late Celeste Lincoln.

Following cremation, his Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, December 20th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church.
