John H. Richard, 69, formerly of Somerset, passed away July 14th in Florida. Born in Fall River, son of the late Wilfred Richard and Alice (Estrella) Lopes. A hairdresser for many years, he was owner of the former John Richard Salon on So. Main St. in Fall River and prior to that, Mr. John's House of Beauty in Somerset. Brother of Cynthia Alves, Bruce and Russell Lopes, Richard Branco and the late Manuel Branco and Lorraine DeCosta. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. According to his wishes he was cremated. A Memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral on Saturday, September 8th.
