John Joseph Robertson, 91, of Somerset, formerly of Florida, passed away on Saturday March 21, 2020 at home with his family by his side. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late William H. Robertson and the late Eva (Pearson) Robertson, and former husband of Maureen (Sullivan) Robertson.

After graduating from BMC Durfee High School in 1947, he honorably served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1948 to 1952 and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict – and a recipient of the Navy Occupation Service Medal. He also served in the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve from 1954 to 1957.

A graduate of New England Linotype School of Boston, where he attended from 1956 to 1959, he was employed with Ellison Printing Company of Fall River for many years.

He is survived by: three children, Kevin J. Robertson (wife Deolinda) and Karen J. Carvalho both of Somerset, and Brian J. Robertson of Tewksbury, MA; five grandchildren, Arthur R. Carvalho, Kurt A. Robertson, Jessica A. Robertson and Trevor A. Robertson all of Somerset, and Logan T. Robertson of Fall River; two siblings, Althea Therrien (late husband Raymond) of Florida, and Paul R. Robertson (wife Carol) of Middleboro; several nieces & nephews. He was also a brother of the late William Robertson and Helen Cadieux.
