John V. Medeiros, 81, of Boston, formerly of Fall River, husband of Sheila (Silvia) Medeiros, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Boston Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Jose V. Medeiros and the late Maria (Nogueira) Medeiros.

He was a graduate of Providence College and earned his Master's Degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Prior to his retirement, he was a high school teacher for the City of Fall River for many years. A wine connoisseur, John also enjoyed dining out and traveling with his wife to such places as Africa, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.

Besides his loving wife of fifty-one years, he leaves several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Dr. Joseph Medeiros, Louis Medeiros, Thomas Medeiros, and Gloria Pereira.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, September 8th, at Santo Christo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery both in Fall River.
