Jonathan T. Gosselin, 35, of Fall River, husband of Erica (Flynn) Gosselin, passed away in an auto accident on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in Tiverton, R.I. Born in Fall River, a son of Nancy A. (Nunes) Sullivan, of Fall River, and the late John F. Gosselin, he resided in Fall River most of his life, having also lived in Swansea for several years.
A Joseph Case High School graduate, he had enjoyed playing hockey for Case/Diman and also in the SWS Hockey League. He was employed in floor covering for a number of years with Business Interiors of Woburn and was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local # 2168 in Dorchester. Having always enjoyed helping people, Jonathan volunteered with a street outreach program in Boston.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by: two brothers, Michael Pavao of Fall River and David Piela of Fall River; his stepdad Michael "Sully" Sullivan; his parents-in-law, Shawn & Deborah (Almeida) Flynn of Fall River; his maternal grandfather, Carol David Nunes of Fall River; his best friend, (bulldog) Stella; three nephews, and several aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Suzanne (Boardman) Nunes and Joseph & Rita (Carreiro) Gosselin.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 2nd, in Holy Name Church followed by his private committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
