Jordan C.
Mello
d. Jul 25, 2022
Jordan "Jordy" C. Mello, Jr., 78, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving wife and family after a long illness. He was the loving husband of Pauline (Souza) Mello for 54 years. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Jordan C Mello, Sr. and late Laura (Raposo) Mello.
Jordan was employed for many years prior to his illness by Tilllotson Rubber Company. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and long rides with his wife to new places. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Jordan was a loving, family-oriented man who was dedicated to his wife and children and his deep faith in the Lord and St. Jude. He was funny, hard-working and kind to all. A remarkably strong man who faced several health issues over the years but still had a joyful spirit even through such challenging times. Jordan had a selfless nature, often putting others first and always focusing on the bright side of life. He was an amazing soul, and the world is a better place because of his caring spirit. He was truly an inspiration to many.
Besides his wife, Jordan is survived by his children and grandchildren who adored the strong, kind and loving man he was. He leaves his daughter, Ann Marie Golding; his son, Timothy Mello (wife Kim) and four grandsons, Ash Mello (fiancé Andrea Lapham), Jacob Golding and Connor Mello. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was also the grandfather of the late Jordan K. Golding.
His Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 29th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
