Jordao B. Faria, 89, of Fall River, widow of Maria (Botelho) Faria, died Sunday at Crawford Nursing Home. Born in Santa Barbara, alem Capelas, St. Michael, Azores son of the late Jordao F. and Vicenca (Goncalves) deFaria, he emigrated to Fall River in 1966. He was a union laborer in the local construction industry for many years until his retirement in 1981. Father of Jose C. Faria, Jorgelina Teixeira and Maria deLourdes Medeiros all of Fall River; brother of Antonio Bernardo Farias of Toronto, Canada, and the late Manuel, Joao, Jose and Messias Farias. He also leaves 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was offered on Thursday (11/20) in Espirito Santo Church. Committal service followed at St. Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers were Luis, Joseph and Jason Teixeira, Joseph Faria, Robert and Alexander Medeiros.
