Jorge P. Cabral, 84, of Fall River, husband of Maria Lourdes (Da Silva) Cabral, died Tuesday 4/10/12 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, son of the late Manuel P. & Maria Isabel (Cabral) Damaso, he emigrated to Fall River in 1966 and worked in the local textile industry for many years. Besides his wife, he leaves: 2 children, Arina Cabral of Los Angeles, CA, & David Cabral of Monterey, CA; 2 siblings, Gaudino Damaso & Arminda Estrela both of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Breana Cabral & David Cabral Jr; 2 great grandchildren, Bryce & Adren Jackson; several nieces & nephews. He was also brother of the late Maria Isabel Estrela. His Funeral was private with a Funeral Mass celebrated on Thursday, April 12, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
