Obituary

Joscelyn C. Russell, 84, of Somerset, widow of William Russell, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Fall River a daughter of the late Roland Caron and the late Louise (Duquette) Caron, she resided in Somerset most of her life.

She was employed at Genzyme for about 10 years – retiring in 2001.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, travelling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: five children, Caryn Laforge (fiancé Bill Bowley) of Tiverton, William Russell (wife Gina) of Voluntown, CT, Michael Russell (wife Amelita) of Navarre, FL, Victoria Belmore (husband Edward) of Somerset, and Valarie Teves (husband Steven) of Somerset; three siblings Reinette Greaves of North Attleboro, Roger Caron of Somerset, and Phillip Caron of Enfield, CT; nine grandchildren, Jeff, Kristine, Jacob, Sarah, Nathaniel, Zachary, Harmony, Paige, and Vincent; eight great grandchildren, Nevin, Devyn, Colton, Donovan, Harper, Everest, Henry, Sofia, and Samantha; and several nieces and nephews. She was also great grandmother of the late Madison.

Before her private cremation, a visitation period was held on Thursday, April 29th, in our Somerset Chapel.

Family members are always grateful for relatives and friends wishing to make in-person expressions of kindness and support.
