Jose Domingos Aguiar, 87, of Fall River, husband of the late Maria G. Aguiar, passed away on Thursday, March15, 2023, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton. Born in Pico, Azores, a son of the late Jose Aguiar and the late Georgina (Medeiros Patricio) Aguiar, he emigrated to Fall River in 1979. He worked in the local textile industry, at Joan Fabrics for over 30 years.

He is survived by: two children, Jose Aguiar (wife Irene) of Fall River and Teresa DaSilva (husband Fernando) of Fall River; three siblings, Carlos Aguiar of Toronto Canada, Teresa Moniz of Brampton, Canada, and Santo Christo Cordeiro of Newman, California; three grandchildren, Christopher DaSilva, Melinda Aguiar, and Shannon Perry-Borges; one great granddaughter, Vera; and several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 18th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
