Jose S. Borges, 51, of Somerset, husband of Fatima (Alves) Borges for 15 years, passed away peacefully in Fall River on Friday, December 11, 2020

Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Herculano and Maria Conceicao Borges. He was a mason for all of his working life and was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church.

He leaves: his loving children; Diana Alberto and her husband Kyle of Somerset, Tiffany Borges of Fall River and Marina Borges and her companion Terrence Kinzie; 2 grandchildren; his siblings, Tobias Borges, Pedro Borges, Maria Borges all of Fall River and Joao Borges of St. Michael, Azores. He was the brother of the late Tiago Borges.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, December 15th, St. John of God Church, followed by his private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, Jose would have wanted you to attend an Iron Maiden Concert or make a donation to a charitable organization for the benefit of children.
