Jose Botelho, 82, of Fall River, husband of Maria Conceicao (Pereira) Botelho, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at home after a long illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel & Maria (Medeiros) Botelho, he emigrated to Fall River in 1970, was a laborer in the local construction industry for many years and enjoyed membership in the Our Lady of Light Band Club. Besides his wife, of 55 years, he leaves: 4 children, Maria N. Silva of Swansea, Mary Jo Pereira, Joe Botelho & Susana Collins all of Fall River; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Angelina Pereira and Maria Neves Botelho. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Holy Trinity Church. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
