Jose C. Ferreira, 71, of Mason Street in Fall River, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. He was the husband of Maria T. (Alpoim) Ferreira, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Cinfaes, Portugal and raised in Lisbon, he was a son of the late Manuel & Emilia (Cardoso) Ferreira. A Fall River resident since coming to the U.S. in 1975, he worked as a mason and was an active member of Universal Church. His committal service was held on August 7, 2008 in Notre Dame Cemetery and his pallbearers were Carlos, Philip, George and Christopher Ferreira, John Oliveira and Derek Medeiros.
