Jose "Joe" F. Coelho, 64, of Fall River, died Thursday 4/17/14 after an illness. Born in Mangualde, Portugal, son of Maria do Carmo (Ferreira) Coelho of Fall River and the late Joaquim Coelho, he emigrated to Fall River in 1967. Employed in the local textile industry for many years until his retirement in 2012, he was an avid soccer fan, having played in his younger days. Besides his mother, he leaves: 2 children, Lindsay Waite (husband Neil) & Eric Coelho both of Fall River; 4 siblings, Maria Isabel Nunes, Maria Amelia Medeiros, Antonio & Louis F. Coelho all of Fall River; 1 grandson, Colton; several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
