Jose DaCosta, 89, of Fall River, husband of the late Maria (Rodrigues) DaCosta, passed away on Sunday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Vila Franca, Portugal, son of the late Laureno and Francelina (Cabral) DaCosta.  A hardworker, he loved gardening and taking care of his animals, especially his pigeons. Jose leaves his three children: Antonio DaCosta and Brenda Correia (late husband-Robert) of Fall River, and Natalie Tadeu and her husband Mario of Somerset; a brother, Norberto DaCosta of Canada; five grandchildren: Charlie and Tania Tadeu, Melissa DeMello, Kevin Viveiros, and Robert Correia, III; three great-grandchildren: Lance Tadeu, Sophia DeMello, and Landen Pimentel; and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, April 20th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St.Patrick Cemetery.
