Jose Frias, Jr., 92, of Fall River, passed away on Monday. Husband of the late Ines (Furtado) Frias. Born in Ponta Garca, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jose and Maria Estrela (Ricarda) Frias. He lived in Agua Retorta for many years before emigrating to Fall River in 1980. Jose is survived by his loving daughters, Lucy Medeiros (husband - Felisberto), Antonieta Verdadeiro (husband - Jose), Maria de Paz Neves (husband - Antonio George), Fatima Medeiros (husband - Domingos), Margarida Frias (husband - Luis) and Leonor Costa (husband - Jose Denis), all of Fall River, a brother, Joao Frias of St. Michael and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 9, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
