Jose Alves, Jr.'s Obituary
Jose Alves, Jr., 92, of Fall River, husband of the late Serafina (Lindo) Alves, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016. Born in Arrifes, St Michael, Azores, son of the late Jose & Deolinda (Pacheco) Alves, he emigrated to Fall River in 1970. He leaves: two sons, Paul Alves (wife Maria) of Somerset, Jose Alves (wife Aida) of Fall River; a daughter, Maria Silva of the Azores; a granddaughter, Ashley Alves of Somerset; three other grandchildren, all of the Azores; and three nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated on October 17, 2016 at Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
