Jose Luis Raposo, 86, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday at St. Annes Hospital. Born in Britania, So Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel Luis Raposo and Mariana Viveiros Manica, and the beloved husband of Eva Duarte Raposo. He is survived by daughters Ana Botelho (husband Manuel), Susan Raposo (husband Manuel), Theresa Miranda (husband Eddie) and Jose E. Raposo (wife June), 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers: Antonio Raposo and Manuel Raposo, and a sister, Gilda Sousa. He was the brother to the late Maria Helena Simoes and Basilo Raposo. Jose worked for Quaker Fabrics for many years prior to his retirement. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, March 23rd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
