Jose Pimentel Marcos, 93, of Fall River passed away Tuesday at Catholic Memorial Home. Husband of Maria C. (Silva) Marcos. Born in Santa Barbara, Ribeira Grande, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jacinto and Maria Jose (Marcos) Pimentel. He came to this city in 1977. Besides his wife of 65 years, he leaves 5 children, Joseph Marcos (Wife - Dora) of Somerset, Herminia DeSousa (husband - Domingos) and Mary Jose Correia (husband - Jose) both of Brampton, Canada, Antonio Marcos (wife - Maria) of Swansea and Mary Lou Gomes of Fall River; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren (with another on the way) and many nieces and nephews. He was truly loved by us all. The family wishes to extend their grateful thanks to the staff of the Catholic Memorial Home. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 5, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by a committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
