Jose Inacio Pedro, 93, of Fall River, husband of the late Elisa (da Palma) Pedro, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday. Born in Obidos, Portugal, he was the son of the late Inacio and Amelia (da Conceicao) Pedro. Jose was a man of strong faith who loved reading and studying his bible daily. A shoemaker, he was the owner and proprietor of a shoe store for many years in Portugal. Jose enjoyed gardening, trips to the water, and making his own wine. He was very self-sufficient, maintaining his home and property without issue. He leaves his children: Samuel Pedro and wife Amelia of Swansea and Dulce Sousa and husband Jack of Virginia; two grandchildren: Jesse Sousa and Tyler Pedro; two great-grandchildren: Lilianna and Luke Sousa; a brother, Augusto Pedro and wife Remilde of Portugal; and several nieces and nephews. Jose was also the brother of the late Maria Amelia and Joaquim Pedro. His Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, April 19th, in the Calvary Temple followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
