Jose C. Senra, 100, of Fall River, husband of Leonilde (Oliveira) Senra, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, Jose was a son of the late Manuel Senra and the late Berta (Carvalho) Senra.

Prior to retirement, Jose worked as a floor worker at a local textile company, Quaker Fabric. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and tending to his grapevine.

Besides his wife of 73 years, he is survived by his children, John Senra (late wife Cathleen), of Fall River, and Susan Senra Oliveira, of Somerset; grandchildren, David Senra, Justin Oliveira, Jeremy Oliveira, and Paul “PJ” Senra; great-grandchildren, Matthew Senra, Cameron Senra, Ellie Oliveira and Nora Oliveira; and many nieces and nephews. Jose was predeceased by his son Paul Senra, granddaughter Julie Senra and his brothers John Senra, Manuel Senra, Gil Senra, Luis Senra and Pedro Miguel.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Calling Hours to be held in Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

His Funeral will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 9:00 am from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered in Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 am. Committal Service and interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
