Jose O. Teodoro, 89, of Fall River, husband of Maria de Fatima (da Silva) Teodoro, passed away on February 1, 2026, at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home.

Born in Lajes do Pico, Azores, he was the son of the late Jose Soares Teodoro and the late Maria do Rosario Moniz.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as an assembly worker for American Wire Insulation Company. Jose was an avid Sporting fan and loved having debates over soccer and politics. In his younger days, he enjoyed spending his time fishing. Most notably, Jose loved his family and cherished all the time he spent with them.

Besides his devoted wife, he leaves his children, Raul Teodoro and his wife Graciette, of Fall River, and Laura Costa and her husband Paul, of Florida; his grandchildren, Cystral, Bryan and his wife Ashley, Sarah and her husband Andrew, Leann and Marc. Jose was very excited and looking forward to meeting his first great-granddaughter who was on the way.  He was also predeceased by his sisters Maria Elbania Rosa and Lucioldina I. Teodoro.

Following cremation arrangements with the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Jose's Memorial Funeral Mass to be offered in Espirito Santo Church, 311 Alden Street, Fall River, at 10:00 am on Friday, April 10, 2026.
