Jose M. Vale, 79, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday unexpectedly. Husband of Ascencao Vale. Born in Sao Vicente, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel Martins Vale and Maria Medeiros. He retired from the Foxboro Co. Beloved brother of Maria C. Tavares and the late Maria Luzia, Deolinda, Rosa and Belmira Martins, Manuel, Joao and Antonio Vale. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. An avid gardener, Joe enjoyed tending to his vegetables, grapevine and making wine and loved spending time with his godson, Zachary. Funeral Monday at 9:00 AM from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., with Mass to follow in Good Shepherd Parish Church at 10:00. Calling hours prior to his funeral starting at 8:30.
