Jose "Manica" Viveiros, 82, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Maria "Fanuz" (Pacheco) Viveiros for over 50 years. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Francisco and Maria da Conceicao Viveiros. A retired construction worker, he had been an active member of the Holy Name Society at Espirito Santo Church for many years. Beloved father of Jose A, Helen, Connie, Frank, Eddie, Louie and David Viveiros, Isabel Desrosiers and 2 deceased infants both named Francisco; brother of Helena Fernandes, Gilda Viveiros and several deceased siblings; grandfather of Tony, Mike, Steve, Gary, Justin, Cory, Jocelyn, Stacey, Lexie, Skyla, Lucas, Ryan, Jake and Matthew; great grandfather of Kiara and Emilia. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. A concelebrated Funeral Mass was offered in Espirito Santo Church on Saturday (11/28) with committal services following at Notre Dame Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve, Mike and Tony Viveiros, Cory, Justin and Gary Desrosiers. Also in attendance was a delegation from the Holy Name Society of Espirito Santo Church.
