On April 1, 2022, Joseph Cabral, 90, joined his wife of 63 years, Alice "Massey" (Pereira) Cabral in eternal rest. Joe was an Air Force Veteran and lifetime resident of Fall River. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Bento and Madeline (Arruda) Cabral of St. Michael, Azores.

After being stationed in San Francisco and Japan during the Korean Conflict, Joe returned home and worked for the Fall River School Department until his retirement. An avid collector, he enjoyed traveling to local flea markets with his son, looking for bargains.  He especially loved collecting and fixing clocks and watches.

Joseph is survived by his best friend and son, Wayne Cabral, and his wife, Rachel of Westport; beloved granddaughter, Kathryn H. Rivera (husband, Marcus); step-grandchildren, Melodie Lambert and Dylen Lambert; and great-granddaughter, Moana R. Rivera; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Herman Cabral, Antone Cabral, John Cabral, Maria (Cabral) Alves and Eva (Cabral) Rioux.

His Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 11th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal with military honors at Oak Grove Cemetery.
